This year will see much of the same with another set of gigantic headliners and a genre-spanning lineup. Bookmakers' odds suggest that Glastonbury 2017's lineup may include Guns N' Roses as headliners (8/11), with Kasabian also in the running with odds of 5/4. Radiohead and The Stone Roses have odds of 2/1, and Foo Fighters are in at 3/1. The latter were scheduled to headline in 2015, but were forced to withdraw after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg; they were replaced by Florence And The Machine. Keep an eye out on NME.com for announcements about and the latest additions to the Glastonbury line-up.
Album Reviews
Ed Sheeran - Album "Divide"
Some numbers about your friend and mine, Ed Sheeran. By the time he signed a record deal at the age of 19, the Suffolk singer had already self-released three albums and six EPs. His debut album, ‘+’, unexpectedly shifted over a million copies in 2011. ‘Shape Of You’, a lead single from third studio album ‘÷’, was streamed 6,868,642 times on Spotify in a just one week. He’s popular, you know?
This hasn’t always resulted in positive reviews, though Ed’s way past caring about that. He recently told The Guardian: “I’m at the point where even if I get a one-star review for every album I released for the rest of my life, I’ll still be able to play music.” Luckily there’s no reason to test the theory. The latest Ed Sheeran album (his return after a three-year hiatus/gap yah) is a collection that, somehow, adheres to his perfect pop template… while also being quietly weird.

Partisan
BIO
Partisan are a rock band formed in Manchester, UK, early 2013. As the name implies they are passionate about their cause, which is to inject some authentic rock into the limelight, as serious contenders to pick up the music scene with punchy, bold and unflinching rock anthems!
The band's members are Stuart Armstrong (lead vocals and guitar), Dan Albon (bass guitar) and Leo Stanfield (drums). Founding member Stuart Armstrong (lead vocals and guitar) left his previous band Six10Repeater, that disbanded in 2012 but returned to the scene with Partisan working on new material with a his rock edge and progression from Six10.
They have achieved numerous accolades including being awarded as ‘Best Unsigned Band’ by XFM in 2009, two tracks, Hearts and Nails and Today Somehow featured Pro Evolution Soccer, supported prominent bands such as Nine Black Alps, Baby Shambles, Status Quo and The Damned as well as being reviewed by influential peers within the industry, Mark Radcliffe and BBC Introducing.
The band have recorded and released a number of rock anthems, including Pushing Up Daisies, Animal, Two Lovers and most recently Juggernaut. They have had the pleasure of working with notable producers, Jim Spencer and Mike Bennett. But for 2017, they have more single releases, festivals and gigs both here in the UK and the US, after a fantastic response when they played Pianos in New York and Whiskyagogo in Los Angeles late 2016.
